These terms are a practical, website-ready draft for a one-person service business. They are not legal advice. Project work is governed by the written scope and agreement for that project, not by this page. Have these terms reviewed by an attorney if your situation requires it.

1. Using this site

By using argusdigitalworks.com (including /es/) you agree to these terms. The site exists to describe my services and to let you contact me. You may read it, link to it and share it. You may not copy its text, images or code for commercial use, scrape it in bulk, attempt to interfere with it, or use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages.

2. Information, not advice

The guides in the Resources section and the descriptions of services are general information written for business owners. They are offered in good faith and kept as accurate as I can, but they are not professional advice for your specific situation, and acting on them is your decision. Technology, platforms and laws change; a statement that is correct today may not be tomorrow.

3. Prices are starting points

Every price on this site is a published starting price for a typical scope, shown in U.S. dollars. It is not a quote and not an offer that can be accepted by itself. Actual work is quoted flat, in writing, from a scope we agree on first. Hosting, domains, licenses and usage-based costs are billed at cost, in your name, and are separate from project fees. Published prices may change; the prices in a written quote are the ones that apply to that project.

4. How project work is agreed

Project work begins only when a written scope has been accepted and the deposit described in it has been received. The scope, the quote and any terms written into them form the agreement for that project. In general: half of a flat quote reserves the schedule and the balance is due at launch; two rounds of revisions are included at each stage; monthly care plans have no contract term and can be cancelled at any time; domains, hosting accounts and website files are registered in the client's name and remain the client's property.

5. Ownership of this site's content

The text, photographs, graphics, logo and code on this site belong to Argus Digital Works, LLC or Javier Napoles unless otherwise stated. The eye-grid mark and the Argus Digital Works name are used to identify this business. Client names and client work are shown with permission.

6. Third-party links and services

This site links to other websites — credential verification pages, client sites, documentation — and uses third-party services (Formspree for the contact form, Cloudflare for hosting, Google Analytics when enabled). I do not control those sites or services and am not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Links are provided because they are useful, not as endorsements.

7. No guarantees about search results

Nothing on this site guarantees a search ranking, a number of visitors, leads or revenue. Search engines decide what they show. What I can commit to is described in each written scope: the work that will be done and how it will be delivered.

8. Availability and changes

I try to keep this site available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and may be changed or taken down at any time. To the extent permitted by law, Argus Digital Works, LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its content.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.
