Privacy policy
What this site collects, why, and what happens to it. Short, because there is not much to tell.
This policy is a practical, website-ready draft written for a one-person service business. It is not legal advice. If your situation requires it, have it reviewed by an attorney before relying on it.
Last updated: 2026-08-21. Who this covers: argusdigitalworks.com and its Spanish version at argusdigitalworks.com/es/, operated by Argus Digital Works, LLC (“Argus”, “I”), a home-based business in Stamford, Connecticut. No street address is published; contact details are at the end of this page.
What I collect, and why
The contact form
When you send the contact form you give me your name, your email address, optionally a phone number, the type of work you are interested in, a rough budget if you choose to share it, and your message. The form also records which page you sent it from and which language you were reading. I use this information for one purpose: to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to scope and deliver the work. I do not add you to a mailing list and I do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing.
The form is processed by Formspree (Formspree, Inc.), which receives the submission and forwards it to my email. Formspree stores submissions on its servers under its own privacy policy. The form includes a hidden anti-spam field that real visitors never see or fill in.
Email and phone
If you email or call me, I keep that correspondence as any business would, for as long as it is useful for the relationship and for my own records. You can ask me to delete it at any time.
Analytics (when enabled)
This site is prepared to use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive. At the time of this update it may or may not be active. When it is, it collects standard usage data (pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, referring site) and sets cookies on your device. IP anonymization is requested. Google processes this data under its own terms; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block analytics with a browser extension or your browser's tracking settings; the site works exactly the same without it.
The site may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or collect personal information.
Hosting and security logs
The site is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. I do not receive individual visitor logs from this.
Embedded content
The homepage and the Malcan case study embed a preview of malcanphysicaltherapy.com, a client website. When that preview loads on a desktop browser, that site may set its own cookies and collect data under its own policy, as if you had visited it directly. On phones the preview is replaced by a button that opens the site in a new tab.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. Cookies may be set by Google Analytics (only when enabled) and by embedded third-party content, as described above.
How long I keep information
Contact-form submissions and email are kept for as long as they are relevant to a possible or ongoing working relationship, and then deleted in the course of normal housekeeping. Project files for active clients are kept for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period afterwards in case you need them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me at any time to tell you what information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@argusdigitalworks.com and I will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR; where those apply, I will honor them.
Children
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
